Hormel Stadium

Address: 90 Locust Street, Medford, MA 02155

Hormel Stadium, located in Medford, Massachusetts, has been the home to the Men’s and Women’s Soccer programs here at Fisher College since 2012. The 2,500-seat stadium become the Falcons’ primary home for the 2013 season after spending the six years using multiple facilities in the state of Massachusetts. An agreement between the college and the Hormel Stadium Commission was finalized in early December 2012 after the Falcons hosted five soccer matches inside the stadium during the 2012 season.

During the summer of 2012, Hormel Stadium underwent major renovations due to a $500,000 grant to the city of Medford from then-State Secretary of Environment and Energy Rick Sullivan and then-Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation commissioner Ed Lambert. The City of Medford then supplied an additional $350,000 bond to fully renovate the track encompassing the turf field while Clear Channel delivered a $50,000 solar powered scoreboard as part of an advertising deal with the city. Lastly, Peter White – President of J. F. White Corporations, volunteered and repaired the adjacent parking lot to the stadium (a $120,000 job) as a thank you gift to the residents of the city for their patience with his company’s work repairing the Interstate 93 overpass.

Hormel Stadium provides the Fisher Soccer programs with the one of the nicest facilities in the area to host collegiate soccer. The Stadium provides ample seating for fans and it also has locker rooms, a press box, lights for night games, and indoor restroom facilities.
