Former Baseball Player Zaher Hits Walk-Off in Professional Baseall

Adelanto, Calif. - June 13 was just another baseball game for Dominic Zaher who played at Fisher College from 2012-2015.  The game was tied at the conclusion of regulation play forcing extra innings.  In the bottom of the 10th inning Zaher stepped to the plate and knocked one to deep left center field to drive in teammate Shane Sharkey to win the game for his team the High Desert Yardbirds.

Currently, Zaher is hitting .324 playing in 31 games with 111 at bats.  In his appearances he has scored 27 runs on 36 hits, 6 doubles, 2 triples, and 3 homeruns.  Zaher has accumulated 14 RBIs, 7 walks, 7 hit-by-pitches, and 3 stolen bases.

The High Desert Yardbirds are a Texas Rangers Affiliate in the Pecos League.  The teams home stadium is Adelanto Stadium in Adelanto, California.
