Boston- On April 29th, Fisher College is pleased to be inducting into the Hall of Fame, Davidson Peguero '15, a distinguished alum of the Fisher baseball team. Mr. Peguero will join an illustrious group of fellow Fisher standouts that have been immortalized within the Falcon community.
Davidson Peguero, a 2015 graduate of Fisher College in Justice Studies, was a four year member (2011-14) of the Fisher Baseball team. Peguero graduated from Matignon High School as a pro prospect before attending top ranked Hillsborough Community College and Weatherford Community College. Initially a pitching prospect out of high school, a surgery after high school led him to becoming a dual role player as both a pitcher and position player at Fisher. He was a starter for all four seasons alternating between First Base, Designated Hitter and Left Field. During his senior season, Peguero was ranked in the top 12 in the NAIA for batting average (.428) and also spent time throughout his career in the top 30 for putouts and chances in a game. Davidson Peguero also has the unique distinction of being the only student athlete to be named A.I.I. player of the year, an honor he was awarded at the conclusion of the 2014 season. Upon the completion of his collegiate baseball career he signed a professional contract with both the Frontier League and American Association.
The Fisher College Athletic Department invites all to join us to honor this year's Hall of Fame inductee, Davidson Peguero '15, and celebrate the Athletics Program at Fisher College. Tickets are $20 each and are free to current student athletes & children under 12. Tickets are also available to purchase at the door. The Hall of Fame festivities will kick off at 5pm in Alumni Hall. Honored along with this year's inductee will be celebrated members of our Alumni, Falcon Community and this year's exceptional achieving student athletes.
