During his senior season, Peguero was ranked in the top 12 in the NAIA for batting average (.428) and also spent time throughout his career in the top 30 for putouts and chances in a game. Davidson Peguero also has the unique distinction of being the only student athlete to be named A.I.I. player of the year, an honor he was awarded at the conclusion of the 2014 season. Upon the completion of his collegiate baseball career he signed a professional contract with both the Frontier League and American Association.

It was in large part to the efforts of Fisher College, the Fisher College Student Life department, the Athletics Department and the Falcon Student Athletes that this event has been possible year after year.
