2018 Falcons Fall Schedules Announced

Boston, MA – The end of summer marks the start of the season for the Falcons Men's and Women's Soccer teams and the second season of Falcons Volleyball!  It is going to be an exciting season for the fall programs as each team welcomes new leadership at its helm. Be sure to come out to support the Falcons this fall as they take on some of the top teams in the country!

The Men's Soccer led by first year Coach Joe Tibbs, is looking to improve on the 4-10-1 record from the 2017 season, with a 17 game schedule to include seven home games split between Hormel Stadium and the Winsor School in Boston, MA.  The team will kick off the season on the road taking on Salem State University with a scrimmage on Friday August 24th.  The home opener serves as the start of the official season as the Falcons will take on the Knights of Berkeley College (NY) on September 1st.  The first conference game will take place on Wednesday October 3rd at Hormel Stadium against the Eagles of Green Mountain College, a recent addition to both the NIAC and the NAIA, and will wrap at home on Sunday October 28 against Berkeley (NJ).  For the full men's soccer schedule click here.

First year head coach Julian Crowder, who assisted in leading the team last season, is looking to lead the Falcons Women's Soccer program as it builds on what was the most successful season in program history, as the Falcons finished the 2017 with an impressive 13-4 record and a 100 goal scorer in Julia Schojan '18.  The Lady Falcons will kick off the season hoping to build momentum for the start of the regular season, with a pre-season scrimmage against Rivier University on Wednesday, August 29th before kicking off the regular season at home two days later against the Lions of Eastern Nazarene College.  The team serves as hosts to six other home games at both Hormel Stadium and Winsor School in Boston, MA, They will wrap up the regular season on the road against the Pine Manor College Gators on Tuesday, October 30th. With a tournament over homecoming weekend adding another level of excitement to Fisher's first Homecoming Weekend. The weekend also includes Volleyball matches versus Mass Maritime and the College of Saint Joe's (VT) bookending the weekend, while Men's Soccer is facing off versus Pratt, as well as Baseball and Men's Basketball getting involved in the day. While a national search is currently underway for the new head coach of the Fisher Women's Volleyball team, the team is already geared up and ready to continue their impressive 10-8 record from their inaugural season.  The team is looking forward to a great second season and solidly establishing the culture of success for future teams to come. The 2018 campaign kicks off on the road on Thursday, September 6th, as they take on the Dean College Bulldogs, a team they beat last year straight sets.  They will serve host to their first home game on Thursday, September 13th versus the Lynx of Lesley University, a new addition to their strengthening schedule this season.  The team will spend much of September on the road, but then will return home with seven home games in October, and will wrap up their regular season on the road with a tri-match with Green Mountain and Saint Joseph's College (VT).  For the full volleyball schedule click here.
