Fisher Takes On Albertus Magnus In The Battle Of The Falcons Saturday Afternoon

Boston, MA - The Fisher Men's Basketball team (4-7) will hit the road tomorrow and head to Connecticut to take on Albertus Magnus College (7-3). The Falcons are coming off a much needed nine days rest in which they played four games in seven days, in three different states. They will look to stay hot after a scoring rampage in their most recent win over the College of Saint Joseph (VT) in which they hit 100 for the first time this season, defeating the Saints 110-90.

The Falcons will look to senior Brandon Rembert (Camden, NJ) to create some offensive pressure against Albertus. Rembert is the scoring leader for the Falcons, as he averages 17.2 points per game in 384 minutes this season. Next to Rembert is senior guard, Kyle Snowden (Santa Cruz, CA) who averages 7.0 points per game. Snowden is an essential component to the Falcons offense as he sets up the majority of the Falcons offensive chances from the point. The Falcons will look for another hot night from junior guard, Mena Yacoub (Clermont, FL)  who is coming off a breakout performance in which he knocked down 5 of 12 three's and tallied a career-high 17 points in the win over CSJ.  Jhalen Lumpkins and Giovanni Thompson are the two other Falcons to average in double figures, as they average 11.4 and 10.5 respectively.

The Fisher Falcons will have a very tough matchup as Albertus Magnus is 7-3 on the season and is averaging over 90 points per game.  They have also scored over 100 points in three contests this season.  They are coming off a win over NYU in a nail biter that ended 77-76 on Thursday evening. The Albertus Magnus Falcons will look towards junior guard, Jahmerikah Green-Younger, as he leads the team in the points per game with 14.8, while Rayshawn Brewer controls the boards with 5.7 rpg.
