Kyle Yelin Named As The New Head Coach For Men's Soccer

Boston, MA- This week the Falcons welcomed the newest member of the staff, Kyle Yelin. Coach Yelin has been hired as the next Head Men's Soccer coach to take over the program that finished 3-9-2 last season. "Coach Yelin is an experienced recruiter with a vast knowledge base in collegiate coaching. We are looking for him to add to the young roster and bring this program to the next level," said Athletic Director Cathy Courtney. "This season men's soccer program is returning a young and competitive team. Kyle's enthusiasm, vision, and desire to teach will translate well into our program. His high energy style will give our young team an opportunity to compete for an A.I.I. Championship."

Kyle Yelin comes to Fisher with a plethora of coaching experience, most recently with the Liverpool International Academy FC where he serves as the Regional Head Coach for high school boys in the state of Massachusetts. Prior to that Yelin was the Academy Director and co-founder of the Concord-Carlisle Football Academy where he handled all aspects of club operations to include coaching, player development and overseeing the coaching staff. From 2013-2017, Yelin was a Head Coach and the Residential Academy Lead Coach for the New England Revolution Youth Academy in Foxboro, MA. He also spent three years as a head coach for the Strikers United club team where he coached four different age levels, leading his teams to four different championships in his tenure. Along with his club coaching experience, Yelin served as the Assistant Coach for Endicott College for the 2015-2016 season. At Endicott he was the Director of Recruiting and attended numerous showcases throughout his tenure, along with other coaching duties as assigned. Coach Yelin has received his NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, a USSF D-License, and is also NEP Club Certified.

Yelin received his bachelor's degree from Westfield State University, where he majored in Business Management and Finance. As a student-athlete, Yelin was a four-year starter and helped his team to a MASCAC Championship in 2010 and was named captain for both his junior and senior years.

"The objective of our program will be to recruit and develop highly- competitive student-athletes looking to achieve regional and national success in the NAIA, and continue to develop our cultural identity amongst the program."
