Boston, MA - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the Scholar-Teams for the 2018-19 academic year, which include three Fisher Falcons teams; Women's Soccer, Women's Volleyball and Men's Basketball.
For a team to be considered for the NAIA Scholar-Team award, it must have a minimum 3.0-grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
Each team not only had success on the field, but as well as in the classroom as the three teams combined for 30 wins and three A.I.I All-Conference players. The Women's Soccer program finished with the highest team GPA overall with a 3.26 for the academic year, while Women's Volleyball finished with a 3.20 and Men's Basketball with a 3.05.
