Cynthia Huerta Named To The Women's Volleyball AII All-Conference Team

Boston, MA - The Association of Independent Institutions (AII) announced the 2019 Women's Volleyball All-Conference teams on Thursday evening at the pre-championship banquet on the campus of Lincoln College (Ill.). Women's Volleyball senior Cynthia Huerta (Salinas, CA) was named to the Second Team for her play in the 2019 season.

In 24 matches played, Huerta finished with 328 kills, good enough for second in the AII Conference. She reached 20+ kills in four games, and 20+ digs in three games this season, including a 30 dig performance against Lesley University on September 19th. The 328 total kills smashed the previous Falcons record set by Huerta in her sophomore campaign of 277. She also sits at 9th overall in the NAIA in kills per game (4.49). Huerta leads the Falcons not only in kills (328), and kills per game (4.49), but also in total attacks (1034), digs (271) and a hitting percentage of .139. The senior was also strong at the service line for the Falcons, tallying 53 service aces putting her second on the team and 5th overall in the conference. In two seasons, Huerta has made a tremendous impact on the future of the program and will be missed next season.
