Senior Jenny-Lynn Eggers Named AII Player Of The Week

Boston, MA- For the first time in her career as a Falcon, Jenny-Lynn Eggers (Sonoma, CA) has been named Association of Independent Institutions (AII) Player of the Week. The senior forward lead the Falcons to a 1-0 week over the Thanksgiving break, defeating the MCLA Trailblazers 67-46 in non-conference action. She scored 17 points, and added three rebounds, one blocked shot and one steal in the win, while hitting seven of her 12 shots (58 percent) from the floor. This marked the third time this season that Eggers has scored 17 points in a game.

Eggers currently leads the Falcons in total rebounds (77), offensive rebounds (28), rebounds per game (6.42), all while shooting 48% (47 for 98) from the floor. Her play over the first month of the season lifted the Falcons to a 7-5 record thus far. She will look to continue her strong play when the Falcons travel to NCAA Division I Merrimack this Wednesday, December 4th at 7pm.
