Sophomore Michael Callahan (Chepachet, RI) held Briarcliffe scoreless until the seventh inning. Freshman Andrew Hurd (Barnstable, MA) came in with two outs and runners on first and second and got the only batter he faced to groundout to second to record his first collegiate save.

Callahan finished the game with 6.2 innings pitched allowing two runs on 9 hits while striking out five as he even his 2011 record at 3-3.
