Falcons fall to UHV, 13-1 in nightcap

In the second game of the Saturday doubleheader, the Falcons fell again to the UHV Jaguars, 13-1.  The Falcons left six runners on base and collected just two hits while seeing their season record fall to 0-14.

The game was scoreless after one inning before the hosts scored six runs in the bottom of the second to break the game open. Falcons' pitcher Mike Callahan recorded the first out by getting Mark Macias to fly out to foul territory. After a walk, Callahan relinquished five straight hits, including a two run home run from Tyler Steiner. 

The Falcons got on the board in the top of the seventh on a sacrifice fly from senior Kenny Kahle.

Fisher had a one run game on two hits and committed five errors.  The Jaguars had 13 runs on 13 hits.

Starter Mike Callahan went just two innings, giving up eight runs, two of which were earned on eight hits.
