O'Hare paces Falcons to Game 1 Win over Briarcliffe

Holbrook, NY -- Senior Chris O'Hare (Lynnfield, MA) threw a complete game one hitter to lead the Fisher College Falcons to their 9th win of the season.  O'Hare dominated Briarcliffe over seven innings, finishing the game with 13 strikeouts. If the was 4th victory in five starts for O'Hare, who remains undefeated on the year.

The Falcons did most of their damage offensively in the 3rd inning, scoring 3 runs on 2 hits and an error.  Senior Anthony Peguero (Boston, MA) led off the inning with a hit by pitch was was followed by Victor Lebron's (Union City, NJ) single. Peguero, who advanced to 3rd on the Lebron single came around to score when Davidson Peguero's (Boston, MA) 3rd strike went to the backstop.

The Falcons added a 2nd run on Joshua Boyd's (West Chester, NY) RBI ground out.  The final run of the inning came when Davidson Peguero scored on a sacerfice fly by sophomore Dominic Zaher (Chelmsford, MA).

The Falcons added an insurance run in the 4th but it proved unneeded as O'Hare only have up 1 hit in the 4th on the way to win.

The Falcons will look to sweep the doubleheader when the square off against Briarcliffe at 3:30PM.
