O'Hare Cruises Past Rams in Rain Shortened Win

Lynn, MA -- Christopher O'Hare (Lynnfield, MA) struck out nine in a rain shortened five inning game that gave the Fisher Falcons their 13th straight win and improved their home record to 12-0. The non-conference victory has the Falcons now sitting at 23-12 overall while the 3-0 loss drops the visiting Framingham State Rams to 8-14.

Victor Lebron (Union City, NJ) paced the Falcons offense, going 2-for-3 on the night.

Fisher got the scoring started in the first when Anthony Peguero (Boston, MA) had a one out single up the middle. A Victor Lebron single moved Peguero into scoring position before a double steal allowed Peguero to score when the catcher's throw ended up in left field. The Falcons added a second run in the inning when Joshua Boyd (West Chester, NY) and Lebron completed a double steal of their own that allowed Lebron to take home.

The Falcons added their third and final run in the fifth inning when Eridani Dume (Boston, MA) led off with a single then stole second easily. A failed pickoff attempt resulted in Dume advancing the third before Anthony Peguero's sacrifice fly plated Fisher's insurance run.

The Rams managed just three hits off of O'Hare who lowered his NAIA leading Earned Run Average to 0.20.  The Yale transfer is now 7-0 on the season, tied for 21st best in the country. The Falcons return to action Friday with a 10AM doubleheader versus the University of Maine Presque Isle Owls.
