Falcons Power Past Bulldogs in Game One

Lynn, MA -- Senior Casey Reed (Ossipee, NH) threw a complete game eight hitter to pace the Falcons to a 12-2 game one victory against the Briarcliffe College Bulldogs. The right-hander struck out four while allowing just two runs (one earned) to improve to 5-3 on the season.

The Falcons scored in every inning including multiple runs in the 2nd, 4th and 5th innings. The visiting Bulldogs managed to scrap together two runs in the top of the 7th but it wasn't nearly enough has the game was well in Fisher's control.

Eridani Dume (Boston, MA), Anthony Peguero (Boston, MA) and Jose Paulino (Lawrence, MA) each had three hits and led a Fisher offense the tallied 17 hits in the game. The 12 run outburst marked the 8th time this season the Falcons have scored in double digits.

The Falcons also got two hits from Dominic Zaher (Chelmsford, MA) and Brett Remon (Salem, MA).

David Rowan took the loss for the Bulldogs after lasting just 3 and 1/3 innings. Rowan surrendered eight hits and gave up seven runs in the outing. The righty managed two strikeouts but also walked two Falcons.
