Falcons Clip Framingham St, 7-4

Lynn, MA -- The Fisher Falcons down the Framingham State Rams, 7-4, Tuesday night at Fraser Field to complete a rare doubleheader sweep.  As Fisher battled Framingham State at Fraser, members of the Falcons program knocked off Rivier University at nearby Maplewood Park in Malden, MA, 4-1.

The Falcons were paced offensively by Elvis Perez (Lynn, MA) who was 2-for-3. Perez had 1 RBI for the Falcons while scoring 3 runs of his own.  Ramcy Lora (Lynn, MA) added a 1-for-3 effort with 2 RBIs as Fisher recorded their 19th win of the season.

Micheal Hersey picked up the win for the Falcons in relief of starter Shaun Carlson. Hersey went 2 innings allowing just one hit.  Carlson pitched the first 6 innings giving up 4 runs (2 earned) on 3 hits.  Carlson recorded 7 strikeouts but had control issues, surrounding 7 walks.

The Falcons return to action tomorrow night when they host Rivier Univeristy at Fraser Field. The 9 inning non-conference match up is scheduled for a 7pm first pitch.
