Boston, MA -- Senior Pedro Escarfullery (Waterbury, CT) and the Fisher College Falcons blanked the Worcester State University Lancers 6-0 Tuesday night at Fraser Field in Lynn, MA. With the victory, the Falcons improved to 32-13, while Worcester State dropped to 18-14.

Escarfullery went eight scoreless innings, allowing just four hits and four walks. The right hander managed five strikeouts to earn his third victory of the season. Ismael Velez (Avon, MA) pitched a perfect ninth.

Worcester State's Tyler Barrie (Oxford, MA) suffered defeat for the Lancers after going five complete innings. Barrie allowed two runs on five hits and one walk. The freshman right hander was able to record four k's in the loss.

Dominic Zaher (Chelmsford, MA), Spencer Hermann (Jacksonville, FL), and Davidson Peguero (West Roxbury, MA) each had two hits for the Falcons. Zaher and Hermann also each knocked in a run for the win.

Junior Zach George (Attleborough, MA) recorded two of the four hits in the Lancer effort.

The Falcons return to action Wednesday afternoon when they travel to MIT for a 4:00pm first pitch. Worcester State has the day off before they host the Falcons Thursday afternoon at 4:00pm.
