Lynn, MA -- The Fisher Falcons overcame a three run deficit to defeat visiting Bates College, 9-4, Tuesday night at Fraser Field in Lynn, MA.  The Falcons, who closed out their regular season with the victory, improve to 36-15 while Bates drops to 18-13.

Ismael Velez (Avon, MA) earned the victory in relief for the Falcons.  The senior pitched a perfect 7th inning to improve to 2-0 on the season. Classmate Pedro Escarfullery (Waterbury, CT) started the game for the Falcons, last 3 and 1/3 innings.

Offensively, the Falcons were paced by Davidson Peguero (Boston, MA), Yhonathan Santelises (Lynn, MA) and Yuliano Rodriguez (Pao Alta, PR).  All three Falcons collected two hits a piece while Rodriguez knocked in three runs.

The Falcons return to action Friday, May 2nd when they square off against Cal State - San Marcos in the opening round of the A.I.I. Baseball Championships. Fisher will host the six team double elimination tournament at Fraser Field from May 2nd to May 5th.
