Falcons Soar Past Colby-Sawyer. 16-0

Boston – On a cold night in New Hampshire the Fisher Falcons managed to heat up offensively on their way to a 16-0 thrashing of Colby-Sawyer College. The victory improved the Falcons to 6-10 on the year while CSC drops to 0-15.

Branden Mannion earned the victory on the mound for the Falcons, allowing just one hit over six innings. The right-hander recorded four strikeouts and surrendered two walks.

Jefry Castro, Matt Trotta, and Brain De Jesus each pitched scoreless innings in relief as the Falcons recorded their fourth shutout of the season.

Offensively, Fisher collected a season-high 16 hits, including homeruns from Nelson Lopez, Jordan Berry and Jessue Alvarado.  Alvarado's third blast of the season leads the team while Lopez's round trip was of the inside-the-park variety.

Lopez registered a 2-for-6 day with four RBI's. Alvarado matched Lopez's four RBI effort in a 4-for-4 outing.

Berry, 3-for-4, and Jose Fortuna, 2-for-4, were the other Falcons with multiple hits.

The Falcons return to action tonight when they square off against Rivier University. The game will be played on the campus of Franklin Pierce University, with first pitch scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
