(LYNN, MA)  In the bottom of the 8th inning the Gators and the Falcons were all squared up at 6 aside when RF Haydell Alicea lead off by getting hit by Gators reliever Hugh Turner pitch which ended up chasing him from the game. PMC then summond reliever Joe Mello to face SS Angel Perez-Vargas with Alicea on first.  On the first pitch Alicea swiped second then advanced to third base on an INF bunt single Perez-Vargas.  With runners now at second and third (Perez-Vargas stole second) 1B Mitch Lundholm lifted a deep enough fly ball to left field to score Alicea from third to break the tie 7-6 on an RBI SAC fly.

Relief pitcher Jose Galan entered the fourth inning with a 6-5 lead and runners on first and second base with no outs.  The lefty kept PMC off balance getting key ground balls to escape the inning only giving up one uninheriated run.  Galan then found himself a groove sitting down the side both in the 5th, 6th and 9th innings earning the victory for the Falcons.  Galan's final pitching line:  6.0IP/0ER/2H/2BB/6K.

The win puts the Falcons to 20 on the season (20-15) and are scheduled to play host to the Mass. Maritime Academy Buccaners (11-7), Tuesday, April 10th.  The first pitch scheduled at Fraser Field is for 7:00 PM.
