Falcons Streak Continues as Their Bats Pound Buccaneers 14-0

(LYNN, MA) - The Fisher College Falcons (21-15) extended their win streak to four games Tuesday night as they beat down the Buccaneers (11-8) of Massachusetts Maritime Academy 14-0 at Fraser Field.

The Falcons lineup kept the pressure on the Buccaneers all night long with baserunners seemingly on every base all night long as they were able to capitalize from SS Angel Perez-Vargas and DH Jonathan Rosado both producing three hits and three RBI's on the night.  The 13 hit attack against the MMA pitching staff came from up and down the lineup with seemingly every at-bat being executed with a purpose and plan.

The starting pitcher for the Falcons Zach Leblanc once again performed at a dominate pace. He went seven strong innings allowing no runs on four hits, while striking out nine Buccaneers on the night to earn his eighth win of the season. Freshman, Norberto Ceballos and Senior Zac White combined to preserve the shutout victory for Leblanc by posting zeros' in the eighth and ninth innings respectively.

With the victory, the Falcons are now 21-15 on the season and have will have a quick turnaround as they play host to the Framingham State University Rams (9-11) tomorrow in a makeup contest originally scheduled for March 31; first pitch scheduled for 7:00 pm at Fraser Field.
