LAWRENCEVILLE, GA. – The Continental Athletic Conference announced earlier this morning that Fisher College junior Vance Serrano has been selected as the conference's Pitcher of the Week.

Serrano was magnificent in his only appearance for the Falcons last week. The Las Vegas, Nevada native struck out six batters in his complete game effort in the team's 8-3 victory over Bryant & Stratton College – Albany (N.Y.) on Saturday. Serrano scattered six hits over his seven innings of work while allowing just one walk as he improved to 5-3 on the season.

This is the fifth time that a member of the Fisher College Baseball program has earned CAC Pitcher of the Week honors. Serrano joins senior Ronald Luke (Week 10), juniors William De Gracia (Week 8), Yadiel Cuadrado (Week 6), and freshman Joziel Carmona (Week 7) to receive conference weekly honors.
