The Falcons just missed out on making it two wins in a row, falling to the College of St. Joseph's (VT) 81-74 in a battle of former Sunrise Conference adversaries.

Rahiem Smalls paced the victors with 18 points on 8-17 shooting and 8 rebounds.  Dane Jobst added 17 points and 12 rebounds for the visitors.

The Falcons outshot the Saints 49 percent to 36 percent only shot 67 percent from the free throw line. St. Joseph's 90 perecent form the charity strip was a major contributor to their 7 point victory.

Senior Dennis Norford had a game high 27 points and led everyone with 14 rebounds. Junior Ryan McCorkle added 15 points and sophomore Zach Pope had 14 points included 2 three-pointers. 

The Falcons will return to action Wednesday when they travel to Fitchburg State for a non-conference bout with the Fitchburg Falcons. The game is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
