Falcons fall to Grace College Lancers

The Falcons dropped their last home game of 2012, 88-55 against the Grace College Lancers.  The Lancers proved to much for the undersized Falcons.

Sam Nwadike (Houston, TX) was the lone Falcon to reach double figures, finishing with 11 points.  Chris Green (Middle Island, NY) added nine points, Ryan McCorkle and Dana Hines eached contributed eight points in the loss.

Grace's size was to much for the Falcons on a night were the vistors finished with a 46-37 rebounding advantage. Grace's Nike Reed had a game high 25 points in just 13 minutes.  Reed went 7-13 behind the three point arc.

Jared Treadway had 15 points on 7-8 shooting and nine rebounds.  Eliot Smith and Greg Miller eached tallied 10 points in the victory.

The match up looked to challenging from the beginning for the Falcons and the visiting Lancers entered Monday's contest ranked #9 in the latest NAIA Division II national polls.

It was the Falcons lost home game of 2012.  Fisher takes to to road for its next two games before the holiday break.  The Falcons tip-off against The Apprentice Schooll (VA) on Thursday evening before closing out the year at Wesley College (DE) on Saturday afternoon.
