Falcons soar of UMFK, 77-62

Fort Kent, Maine – NAIA D2 Independent Fisher College (Boston, MA) pulled away from U-Maine Fort Kent midway through the second half on their way to a 77-62 win in non-conference men's basketball action Saturday afternoon in Fort Kent, Maine.

Fisher turned a five point halftime lead (40-35) into a double digit advantage midway through the second half to pick up their eight win of the season (8-17). UMFK (2-19), battled back but couldn't shake 29 turnovers on the day and cold second half shooting (9-27).

Ryan McCorkle paced four Fisher players in double figures with a game-high 22 points to go with 13 rebounds while UMFK senior co-captain Yoshives Belizaire (Miramar, FL) had a team-high 21 points and grabbed a game-high 14 boards playing in his final home game as a Bengal.
