Falcons Fall on Senior Night, 89-75

BOSTON, MA- In their finally home game of the season, the Fisher's men's basketball team (8-20) loss to the Lancers of Worcester State (11-12) by a score of 89-75.

The first half was a back and forth game between the Lancers and Falcons. Fisher took a early 19-10 lead to start the game, then the Lancers score 11 straight points to take the lead. Worcester State led at half time, 45-38. Both teams shot 43 percent from the field in the first half. Also in the first half. both teams also had a 3 pt percentage of over 40 percent. Kyle Ferreira of Worcester State led all scorers at half-time with 18, while senior Ryan McCorkie led the Falcons with 12 points.

The second half was a battle just like the first with the Falcons cutting down the lead than eventually taking the lead. Many lead changes and ties occurred after this with Worcester State taking the lead for good with almost 13 minutes left in the game. The Lancers steadily increased their lead for the rest of the game, eventually winning the game by 14 points.

Kyle Ferreira scored a game-high 26 points for the Lancers, while Alex Lopez(10), Dane Jobst(17), and Robert Hunter(13) added in double digits in points. Jobst also grabbed a game-high 17 rebounds for Worcester State. McCorkie lead the Falcons in both points (20) and rebounds (8) while fellow senior Kyndal Jones added in seven points. Tyler Shular added in double-digit points with 11. Three other Falcons added in 9 points apiece.
