Falcons lose hard fought game, 82-76

LYNN, MA- The Falcons started the 2014 half of their season Sunday afternoon against Emmanuel College at Fectau-Leary gymnasium. The loss to Emmanuel drops Fisher down to 7-10 on the season.

The game was hard played by both teams and included 16 lead changes as well as 11 times both teams were tied. At half the score was 49-43 in favor of Emmanuel College. After a back and forth game between the two teams, Emmanuel was able to take the lead for good with 05:32 left in the second half. The Falcons battled to get within two points with 17 seconds left in the second half but Emmanuel was able to hit their free throws to put the game out of reach.

Emmanuel was lead by Kyle Smith's 24 points while Joran DeMario added in 22 points and John Clay also scored double digits with 10 points. The Falcons received 19 points from Sophomore Tyler Shular (Norwalk, CT) while Juniors Chris Green (Middle Island, NY) and Ira Haywood (Las Vegas, NV) added in 17 and 14 points respectively.

The Falcons will being on the road for their next game on January 7th against Worcester St, tip-off starts at 2:00 PM.
