Falcons lose by 9 to Washington Adventist, 74-65

LYNN,MA-The Falcons basketball team took on Washington Adventist in a Sunday afternoon game at Fectau-Leary Gymnansium in Lynn. The game was tied between the two teams at half with a score of 39-39.

Washington Adventist was led by Calvin Lovitt's game-high 17 points. Elliott Meredith (16 points), Jawuan Lockhart (13 points), and Martin Wilson (11 points) all scored score double digit points along with Lovitt for Washington Adventist. Lockhart had a game-high 5 steals for Washington Adventist. Also the game-high assist was achieved by Lockhart and Meredith with 6 apiece.

Fisher was led by their Junior class including Ira Haywood's (Los Vegas, NV) team-high 14 points. Junior Orlando Zayas (Boston, MA) added in 10 points and O.J. Moore (Junior/Houston, TX) also scored double-digit points with 12. Ernest McNeil(Junior/Boston,MA) grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds while also scoring eight points.

The Falcons next game will be on the road on Monday February 10 in Connecticut when they travel to face Trinity. The game will start at 7:00 PM.
