Holmes, Falcons Defeat CSJ in Comfortable Fashion

Boston – The Fisher Falcons cruised to their 12th win of the season with a 97-76 victory of the College of St. Joseph's Wednesday night at Fecteau-Leary Gymnasium in Lynn, Massachusetts.  It was the third win over CSJ this season for the Falcons who continue to mount a case for postseason selection.

Kyle Holmes paced the Falcons with a game high 20 points on 7-of-16 shooting. Five other Falcons reached double-figures, including 17 points from Tyler Shular (6-14), 15 points from Darrell Grady (6-7), 14 points from Malik Wilson (4-8), and a 13 point effort from Brandon Robinson on 4-of-7 shooting.

Wilson and Holmes each recorded double-doubles by way of collecting 10 rebounds apiece.

Fisher held a 45-33 halftime lead before outscoring CSJ 52-43 in the 2nd half in route to the convincing victory. The Falcons finished 35-of-70 (50.0%) from the floor and 6-of-14 (42.9%) from behind the arc. Fisher also went 21-0f-25 (84.0%) from the free throw line.

The Falcons return to action on Friday evening when they host the University of Valley Forge. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00p.m. at Fecteau-Leary.
