Holmes Leads Falcons To Route of CSJ

Rutland, VT – The Fisher College Falcons opened up a 21 point halftime lead in route to a 94-62 thrashing of the College of St. Joseph's Wednesday night in Rutland, Vermont.

The Falcons shot 48.5% from the floor on 33-of-68 shooting to ease to victory over their Sunrise Conference rivals.  The Falcons held CSJ to just 18-of-63 (28.6%) from the floor.

Kyle Holmes finished with a team-high 22 points for Fisher on 8-of-15 shooting. Holmes went 3-of-9 from the behind the arc and a perfect 3-for-3 from the free throw line.  Senior Tyler Shular has reached double-figures for Fisher, finishing with 17 points on 6-of-16 shooting.

12 different Falcons earned space on the score sheet in one of their most balanced offensive displays of the season. 

The Falcons will look to win their fifth game in a row when the host the University of Maine at Machias on Friday January 15th. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00PM.
