Machias, Maine – Fisher College's men's basketball team took an 85-63 victory over the University of Maine at Machias handing Machias their first loss of the season. The Falcons improve to 1-1 on the season while UMM drop to 2-1.
Fisher held on to a 41-34 lead over the Clippers going into half time. Fisher exploded in the second half outscoring the Clippers 44-29 to earn their 85-63 victory.
Brandon Rembert and Anthony Kellum paced the Falcons with 21 points a-piece and a combined 10 rebounds. Jamontay Thompson added 17 points and 7 rebounds for the Falcons. Malik Seldon (9 points) and Joshua Graetz (5 points) were also key Falcons in their victory.
Fisher will return to action on Saturday, November 11 when they head to Delhi, New York to take on Villa Maria at SUNY Delhi. The Falcons will then turn around and play SUNY Delhi on Sunday afternoon.
