Brandon Rembert Helps Leads The Falcons To Their First Win Of The Season

Buffalo, NY- Senior Brandon Rembert (Camden, NJ) scored over 20 points for the second straight contest to help lead the Falcons to their first win of the season as they took down the Bryant & Stratton Bobcats (1-3), 91-84 in the second day of the Villa Maria Tip-Off Classic.  Rembert scored 23 points while adding seven assists and five steals and shot 50% from the floor to stay hot in his first two games in his senior campaign.  Junior Ville Milan (Turku, Finland) was an impressive 8 for 11 in field goals, including 5 for 5 in three-pointers for 21 points to contribute to the win. 

The Falcons got hot right from the start, shooting 45% from behind the arc to take the lead into halftime, 47-40.  Fisher also had the edge in shooting and free throw percentage heading into the half, shooting 88.9% from the charity stripe, which proved to be the difference as each team scored 44 points in the second half.  The Falcons defense also played well as the team forced 18 Bobcats turnovers and collected 10 steals as a team.

Senior Kyle Snowden (Santa Cruz, CA) also scored in double figures for the Falcons as he added 12 points, five assists and five rebounds.  Junior Jhalen Lumpkins (Sacramento, CA) led the Falcons on the boards as the grabbed 12 caroms, including three on the offensive.

The Falcons return to Boston for their home opener on Wednesday, November 7th at 7pm at Fecteau-Leary gymnasium as they take on the University of Maine-Machias.
