Men's Basketball Ready For The Paula Titus Memorial Tournament This Weekend

Boston, MA- The Men's Basketball team heads across town tonight to kick off the Paula Titus Memorial Tournament hosted by UMass-Boston, slated for a 7pm start.  The Falcons will take on The College of Saint Joseph's (VT) Saints at 7pm.  Live stats and video will be made available at the following link:  https://portal.stretchinternet.com/umb/.

Fisher is 2-2 on the year after falling to the Green Mountain Eagles last week after winning two straight.  Senior Brandon Rembert (Camden, NJ) leads all scorers after four games with 58 points, good for 14.5 points per game.  Rembert also leads the Falcons with 13 assists and 8 steals in the young season.  Junior Jhalen Lumpkins (Sacramento, CA) has gotten hot the past two contests as he has scored 17 and 18 points, respectively.  Lumpkins also has been strong under the basket as he leads all Falcons with 31 rebounds, including eight offensive boards.  Ville Milan (Turku, Finland) is the other Falcon who averages double digit points thus far with 10.3 points per game while also grabbing 16 rebounds.

The Fighting Saints are 4-3 this season and are coming off a tough loss to Southern Vermont, 91-62 this past Sunday.  Curry College (0-2) and host UMass-Boston (1-0) round out the tournament, with the Colonels and Beacons facing off at 5pm tonight. Winners of Friday's contests will determine matchups for Saturday's game. The consolation game will be at on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 1pm and the championship game will be played at 3pm.
