Falcons Drop Road Contest To PMC

CHESTNUT HILL, MASS. - The first period started off quickly for Fisher as they connected on the first goal of the game at the 4:30 mark as Tyler Gahara chipped it up the middle with the assist by Jordan Markovichs. The Falcons didn't stop the attack as Junior DePina scored the 2nd goal at 17:44 with the left cross pass from Tyler Gaharanot the first half ended with Pine Manor only shooting only 4 shot attempts to Fisher's 6.

The difference in the opening period was the gators inability to get good shots but how quickly things change in sports are amazing.

Down 2-0 with the start of the second half the Gators had an extra gear and were able to find it with Jacob Curran netting the first goal of the second half at the 47:31 mark with the touch pass from Owen Haughton. The Gators started to gain momentum as they came down the field four minutes later and connected on another goal by Jahvar Gayle which tied the game with about 40 minutes remaining in the game.

The beginning of the second half seemed totally opposite of the first with the Gators on the attack more than falling back on defense. At the 85:09 Jose Corrales notched a game changing goal that gave the Gators their first lead of the game with the beautiful pass through a gap between two defenders by Kenardo Dwyer.

The Gators kept on chomping at the bait and Dwyer got a pass at midfield and dribbled all the way leading to another goal for the home team which led to the 4-2 victory by Pine Manor. Pine Manor finished the second half with 10 shots making 14 on the game as their defense stepped up only allowing 2 shots for the falcons as they took 8 on the game.

The game was a very physical contest with a total of 28 fouls and 4 cards were given. Fisher now drops to 8-5-3 with their next game Wed, 10/21/2015 at Emerson with kickoff at 6:00 PM.
