Poultney, VT- The Men's Soccer team defeated the Green Mountain Eagles, 2-1, this afternoon on a wet field to claim the NIAC Championship. The two teams met earlier this season and had to settle for a 0-0 draw after 110 minutes, but it was the Falcons who came out on top today getting goals from Senior David Serrano (Val Verde, CA) and Freshman Leonardo Mildor (Pompano Beach, FL).
Boston, MA- On Saturday November 3rd the Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams will be traveling up to Vermont to take on Green Mountain College in the NIAC Championship. The Lady Falcons have already gone head-to-head with Eagles twice this season with each team taking home one of the wins. The Men’s teams are in a similar boat, with their lone match up of the season resulting in a 0-0 tie.
Medford, MA- The Fisher Falcons (3-9-2) took on the SUNY Delhi Bronco’s (12-2) after a day postponement as a result of the weather. The Falcons looked to cap of their regular season with a strong showing against the Broncos. Along with this final regular season game action, Fisher also honored five of their seniors before the start of the game. Recognized at the start of the afternoon for their lasting impact to Fisher College were Eliseu DiPena (Dorchester, MA), Carlos Acevedo (Everett, MA), Aram Kaya (Waltham, MA), Andrew Leveillee (Coventry, RI) and David Serrano (Val Verde, CA).
