Men's Soccer Drops A Hard Fought Match On The Road Against Framingham State, 2-0
Framingham, MA- The Falcons (1-3) drop a hard fought match against the Framingham State Rams (4-2-1) with a final score of 2-0. The Rams came out charging and got on the board in just over ten minutes when Jared Nardizzi (Framingham, Mass.) found the back of the net with an assist from Isaac De Souza (Sao Paulo, Brazil). The Falcons responded with some hard applied pressure and were awarded a penalty shot in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, the shot from Andrew Leveillee (Coventry, RI) was knocked away by the Rams keeper Corey Davidge (Blackstone, Mass.) but left out front for a rebound that was saved again, keeping the Rams ahead 1-0. As the clock was nearing the 45th minute, both teams had some great opportunities but neither of them could find the back of the net.

Heading into the second half the Rams continued to apply the pressure right from the start. The Rams struck for a second time in the 68th minute when Ken Stahovish (Springfield, Mass) sent a lead pass for Bryce Nardizzi (Framingham, Mass) who netted the opportunity, giving the Rams a two goal lead. Falcons goalkeeper, Christopher Garcia (Rowland Heights, CA) had a busy night facing 11 shots on goal, while making nine saves and having his offense only get one shot off, coming from Carlos Acevedo (Everett, Mass).

The Falcons hope to bounce back this Wednesday as they travel to Becker College and kick off at 6pm.
