The Hawks Soared Over The Falcons, 6-1, In The Battle Of The Birds

Leicester, MA- The Becker Hawks (1-6) came out flying over the Falcons (1-4) as Isaiah McCaskill (Springfield, MA) scored two of his four goals on the day within the first three minutes giving them an early 2-0 lead.  In what was a very physical battle on the pitch having the two teams combine for 30 fouls on the day, Fisher fought right back with a scoring opportunity of their own and earned a corner kick in the 6th minute. Vishal Vaswani's (Kowloon, Hong Kong) corner kick came across the middle but the offense was unable to capitalize, leaving the score 2-0.  Becker found the back of the net to make it 3-0 in the 16th minute as a feed from the left side from Micah Charette (Fort Kent, ME) found the foot of Siedon Nemeth (St. Thomas, Virgin Islands) to beat Fisher keeper Christopher Garcia (Rowland Heights, CA). A Becker foul in the box earned the Falcons a penalty shot and Kervens Surpris (Pompano Beach, FL) made it count as he got the Falcons on the board heading into halftime 3-1.

The Hawks did not let up in the second half as they added on two more goals within the first six minutes.  McCaskill had two more goals and Nemeth had a goal to add to the lead giving Becker a 6-1 lead.  The Falcons had their share of scoring opportunities as they had five shots on goal, but were unable to put any more past the Becker starting keeper, Sam Majewski (Warren, MA) who made three saves on the day.

Fisher will get a breather as they have 10 days off to get back on the winning track, and will head to Univ.-ME-Fort Kent on Saturday September 29th and is slated for a 2pm start.
