Fisher Holds Bellevue to 12 runs, but Unable to Take Victory

Clermont, FL – The Falcons were defeated by Bellevue on Wednesday, March 8 with the final score of 12-0. This was the second game in three days in which these teams have played against one another.

The Bruins scored twelve runs on seven hits, led by Maddie Siedlik's two hits and six runs batted in. Bellevue scored in each of the five innings of the game.

After the Bruins started the game with four runs, the Falcons were unable to keep up as their bats were cold from pitch one.

With two out in the bottom half of the first inning, Fisher senior Kristina Brown banged a double to left field. Junior Becky Collison followed up with a walk, but Fisher failed to capitalize leaving two runners on base to end the inning.

Fisher is now 0-7 on the season, while Bellevue improves to 12-7. Fisher is back on the field against Nyack College immediately following this game.
