Simmons started the game with eight unanswered points, before Fisher went on a offensive rally by outscoring their opponent 20-11. With 6:46 left in the first half, Simmons took the lead back from the Falcons by going on a 18-0 run to end the half. At halftime, the Lady Falcons trailed by a score of 39-22.

At half, Porsha Grayson had a team-high ten points for the Lady Falcons while Javanna Bernard added nine points as well as team highs in both rebounds and assists with five apiece. For Simmons, Jen Janiak has a game-high 16 points while Nicole Alberghini added a ggame-high ten rebounds and Hannah May has a game-high six assist.

Fisher was out scored in the second half by a margin of 41-22. Simmons ended up winning the game 80-44

Simmons ended the game with four players in double digits with Jen Janiak ending with a team-high 16 points while Nicole Alberghini, Liz O'Connor, and Leah Davis added 10, 11, and 11 respectively.  Javanna Bernard ended with 18 points to go with a team-high eight rebounds and a team-high seven assists. Porsha Grayson led all scorers with 20 points.
