Framingham, Mass. – Freshman Alycia Rackliffe(Feeding Hills, Mass.) tied her season-high of 15 rebounds while the team received 44 points from the bench as the Framingham State University women's basketball team never trailed in a 77-63 non-conference matchup on Wednesday night at Framingham's Athletic and Recreation Center.

With the win, the Rams improved to 14-10 overall heading into their final Massachusetts Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) regular season home game against Worcester State on Saturday. The Senior Day game is slated for a 1:00 p.m. tip. The Falcons moved to 8-16 on the year.

Rackliffe recorded her fourth double-double of the season as she also scored a team-best 16 points, including a six-for-seven night at the free throw line. Sophomore Kerry Coyne (North Attleboro, Mass.) added 10 points as freshman Carlee Putnam(Niantic, Conn.) and junior Nicole Bostic (Easton, Mass.) pitched in with nine apiece. Junior Margo McCarthy (Southampton, Mass.) and freshman Monta Connolly (Lynn, Mass.) tacked on eight each. In all, eight different Rams recorded at least five rebounds as the hosts held a commanding 73-46 margin.

Senior Javana Bernard (Waterbury, Conn.) went off for a game-high 30 points – 15 each half - with five three-pointers and a nine-of-10 evening from the charity stripe. Senior Porsha Grayson (Merced, Calif.) tacked on 17 points and sophomore Christine Briggs (Rumford, Maine) led the Falcons with nine boards.

Framingham State held a 6-0 lead with just over four minutes played. The Rams then built up a 30-12 advantage with just over five minutes remaining in the half. Bernard used a personal 7-0 run to bring the Falcons within 11 just under a minute later. Framingham State pulled away once again and held a 20-point lead twice in the final 1:01 of the frame following a jumper by junior Kayla Murkison (Lynn, Mass.) and a pair of freebies by McCarthy. Bernard sank a three- pointer for the Falcons with 22 ticks remaining as the Rams went into the break with a 17-point advantage (43-26).

The Rams were ahead by as much as 23 midway through the second half before sophomore Shakieya Roland-Drake (Hyde Park, Mass.) ignited a 12-1 run which was capped off by a three-pointer by Bernard with 7:25 showing on the scoreboard. Framingham State pushed back out to a 20-point cushion with 4:31 remaining. The Falcons then used a 12-4 rally to get back to within a dozen with :35 left in the game. Bostic drained a jumper with :12 left for the 77-63 final.
