Falcons women's basketball falls to UMFK

Fort Kent, ME--The University of Maine at Fort Kent women's basketball team continued their home winning streak to 15 games as they beat Fisher College of Boston, 70-48 on Saturday afternoon. 

The Bengals, playing with only five players, never tired as they played relentless defense and held Fisher to 27% shooting and out rebounded the Falcons 42-33.

Ericka Saucier had 22 points and 20 rebounds. Danielle Carrillo had 6 3's for 20 points. Sam Carapellucci had 14 points and Ifeoma Okaro had 10.

Fisher was led by Sasha Coombs who had 13 points and 13 rebounds.

The Falcons will return to action Sunday, February 7 as they stay in Maine to take on the University of Maine- Presque Isle at 1:00 p.m.
