Carroll Twins Dominate in Falcon Victory

LYNN, Mass. -- Junior guards Madison and Murphy Carrol both had stellar offensive games for the Falcons with 26 and 21 points, respectively.  Fisher College took a 99-50 victory from Vaugh College to go above the .500 mark on the season with a 3-2 record.  Vaugh dropped to 0-3 on the season with the loss.

Fisher dominated from tip and took a quick 4-0 lead over the Warriors, but the Warriors tied the game up at 4-4 and took their only lead of the game, 7-4 in the first quarter.  Aliyanah McIntosh tied up the game at 7 after hitting a 3-point shot.  The Falcons went on a 11-2 run to take a 21-11 lead over Vaughn at the close of the first quarter.

The Falcons went lights out in the second quarter as they scored 31 points over Vaughns 11.  Madison Carroll scored 11 points while Murphy Carroll had 9 points all of which were shots behind the arc.  Heading into half-time, the Falcons holding a 30-point lead over the Warriors, 52-22. 

After the break the Falcons continued to battle scoring another 47 points to take the victory.  The team shott 48.2% in the paint and shot 64.3% from the free throw line in their victory.

The Carroll twins combined for 47 points with help from McIntosh who had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.  Skylar Robinson also helped out with 11 points and 8 rebounds.  Chrissy Briggs was another double-digit scorer with 10 points with 7 rebounds.

The Falcons will return to action on Sunday, December 4 as they host Pine Manor College at the Fecteau-Leary Gymnasium in Lynn, Mass. for a 1:00 p.m. tip-off.
