LYNN, MASS. - Junior guard Murphy Carroll stole the show in tonight's 79-57 victory against Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS).  Carroll was heading into the game with just 8-points left to reach 1,000 points.  Hitting four points in the first quarter, Murphy Carroll was just two shots away from hitting her benchmark.  She made a layup in the second quarter and shortly after netted a 3-pointer to hit 1,000 points.

The Falcons improve to 6-8 on the season with the victory over ACPHS who drops to 5-7 on the season.  

Fisher took a quick 5-0 lead over the Panthers on a 3-pointer by Skylar Robinson which was followed by a jumper by Murphy Carroll.  ACPHS hit two jumpers and a free throw, but the Falcons then went on a 9-0 run to close out the first quarter 16-5.  

The second quarter ended in favor of the Panthers, but the Falcons held onto a 33-25 lead heading into half time.  Aliyanah McIntosh led the scoring in the second half for Fisher with 7 points, but Murphy Carroll highlighted the quarter hitting her 1,000th point.  

The Falcons dominated the 3rd quarter outscoring the Panthers 30-16.  Murphy Carroll netting four shots from behind the arc to lead scoring of the quarter with 12 points.  Madison Carroll added 7 points for the Falcons in the dominance that quarter.  

The fourth quarter was one for the books ending evenly at 16 points.  Although the Panters made a comeback, it was a little late to take the victory from the Falcons.  Time expired on the clock with the Falcons in possesion of the ball, closing out the victory at 79-57.

Murphy Carroll led the Falcons wiwth 23 points in 28 minutes played.  McIntosh finished with a double-double, 19 points and 20 rebounds.  Madison Carroll (16 points, 2 rebounds) and Robinson (14 points, 7 rebounds) added to the offense dominance for the Falcons.

The Falcons will return to action Tuesday, January 17 at 5:00 p.m. in the Fectuea-Leary Gymnasium in Lynn, Mass. when they play host to SUNY Delhi.
