Boston, MA- For the second straight day the Women's Basketball team came away with a win, this time a convincing 75-49 victory over the visiting Berkeley College (NY) Knights. With the win the Falcons are back up above .500 with a 6-5 record, while the Knights fall to 2-3. The Falcons bench proved to be the difference in the matinee as they accounted for 42 of the Falcons 75 points, including double figure efforts from sophomore Misha O'Neal (Tampa, FL) and senior Piper Mali (Oro Valley, AZ) who finished with 14 and 12 points respectively.

The Falcons went up by as many as 27 in the third, leading 54-27 with 4:49 left in the quarter. But the Knights hung tough answering with a 7-0 run to get back within 20, capped by a three-point play from Jordan Washington.

The Falcons used it to their advantage, outscoring the Knights 18-11 in the final minutes for the 75-49 victory. The Falcons defense played well, forcing 22 Knights turnovers while holding their opponents to 26% shooting.

Aside from Mali and O'Neal, freshman Madison Kelley (Moosup, CT) had a strong day, finishing with seven points and 11 boards, while junior Jennifer Rosales (Morgan Hill, CA) was productive tallying seven points and seven rebounds for her squad. The Knights were led by point guard Kaina Martinez who led all scorers with 21 points while adding five boards.
