POULTNEY, Vt. – After a hard fought match and drawing to a 2-2 tie through 90 minutes, the Fisher Falcons fell to the Green Mountain Eagles after Maya Golowasch scored an overtime goal to claim the Northeastern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (NIAC) Championship on Sunday afternoon at Eagles Game Field.
Boston, MA- On Saturday November 3rd the Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams will be traveling up to Vermont to take on Green Mountain College in the NIAC Championship. The Lady Falcons have already gone head-to-head with Eagles twice this season with each team taking home one of the wins. The Men’s teams are in a similar boat, with their lone match up of the season resulting in a 0-0 tie.
Hudson, NH- The Fisher Falcons (4-10-1) concluded their regular season last night with an action packed matchup against the Pine Manor Gators (2-11). After the some heavy rain flooded Pine Manors home fields the games were moved up to New Hampshire for an evening match between the Boston area schools.
Medford, MA – After a week of rest and a rain delay, the Falcons (3-9-1) looked to defeat the SUNY Delhi Broncos (10-3) on senior day. The Falcons honored their 5 seniors prior to start of the match. The five falcons recognized were Darien Lavino (Tewksbury, MA), Ali Mosdale (Marlborough, CT), Delaney McNulty (Northbridge, CA), Sarah Backholm (Sutton, MA) and Chelsea Browne (Milford, MA).
