Women’s Soccer Earns National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Scholar Team Award

Boston, MA - In addition to the success the Fisher women's soccer team earned on the field last fall, finishing with an impressive overall record of 13-4, the team achieved high marks for their performance in the classroom as well. The Falcons Women Soccer team earned the distinction as a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Scholar Team.

For a team to be considered for the NAIA Scholar-Team award it must have a minimum 3.0-grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.

Head Coach Julian Crowder's squad posted an impressive team GPA of 3.44 over the academic year.  "I'm extremely proud of this team, they put in the work on the field and in the classroom. That is what we expect from our student athletes," said Coach Crowder of his student-athletes.
