Women's Soccer Ranked 4th in the AII Conference Preseason Poll

Boston, MA- 2017 was a standout year for the Fisher College Women's Soccer program. The team had the most wins in program history, as the squad finished with an overall record of 13-4.  The Falcons finished the regular season by competing in the NIAC Tournament defeating SUNY-Delhi 4-1, and a second place finish in the conference tournament after a heartbreaking OT 3-2 loss to the University of Maine-Fort Kent. The Lady Falcons are primed to continue their dominance this season having already been ranked in the Top 4 of the AII Conference Preseason poll.

The 2018 NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll was released August 14th by the Conference Office. The Falcons ranked as the 4th seed in the AII Conference to kick-off the 2018 season is the highest preseason ranking for the team in school history. As the start of the season rapidly approaches, Coach Crowder knows he has some important shoes to fill but feels that the talent joining the team this season will only make them stronger. The 2017 team has graduated four seniors, including three who were chosen as First Team All-Conference in the 2017 campaign. They are expecting multiple key returners to include four seniors, Delaney McNulty, Darien Lavino, Chelsea Browne and Sarah Backholm.

Their 2018 season will begin with a pre-season scrimmage on Saturday, August 25th against MCLA at 2:00 PM.
