Women's Soccer Loses A Tough Rematch With Green Mountain, 5-0

Poultney, VT- In a crucial rematch with Green Mountain College (5-5), the Falcons came up short losing a tough one to the Eagles, 5-0.  The offense had their opportunities in both halves, as they earned three corner kicks and five shots on goal, but unfortunately the offense could not beat Eagles keeper Madison Soto.  Falcons keeper Alexandra Colvin (Longmont, CO) stopped 11 shots on goal as she did all she could to keep her team in the game.

Ali Mosdale (Marlborough, CT) led the way offensively for the Falcons as she had six shots for the afternoon.  Melissa Shoniker (Rochester, NY) and Grace Roach (Hutchinson, MN) each had two shots on the afternoon to contribute as well.

The Falcons will look to bounce back next weekend as they hope to end their 5-game winless streak on Senior Night against SUNY-Delhi.  The game is slated for 2pm and the team will honor the five graduating seniors; Sarah Backholm, Chelsea Browne, Darien Lavino, Delaney McNulty, and Ali Mosdale
