Coach Lau is headed into his second season for the Fall 2019 campaign as the Women's Volleyball Coach. He is just the second coach in the program's two-year history. In his first season at the helm, Lau led his team to a 17-11 historic season in which they smashed the previous win record of 10-8 in the 2017-18 inaugural season. Lau led his team to the first-ever NIAC Championship, while also coaching three A.I.I. Player's of the Week, and two All-Conference players this past fall.

Lau comes to Fisher after serving four years as the Head Coach of the Boys and Girls teams at Boston Latin Academy, his high school alma mater.  While at Boston Latin Academy, his teams earned three city championships, as well as making it to the second round of the MIAA tournament in 2017.

Lau, who received his Bachelor of Science degree from Johnson & Wales University in Counseling Psychology, was a four-year college athlete at both Lesley University and Johnson & Wales.  He also is a member of the Boston Knights CAC 9-man volleyball team and competes throughout the Northeast.

William currently resides in Charlestown, MA.
