Fisher College Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2009


Joey Eugenio, Class of 2007 - Eugenio, a native of Lawrence, MA, was a member of the Falcons baseball team. Eugenio made his presence known behind the plate, earning starting catching duties over his four year career as a Falcon. A starter for three seasons, Eugenio finished his career as a three-time Sunrise All-Conference player, as well as earning NAIA Honorable Mention honors in 2005 and 2006. Eugenio was also a two-year captain for the Falcons, graduating with a degree in Business Management. 

Patrick Holland, Class of 2007 - Holland, a native of North Andover, MA, was a pitcher for the Falcons baseball team. Holland transferred in as a sophomore from Merrimack College, playing three seasons as a Falcon. During his three-year tenure, Holland earned Sunrise All-Conference honors all three seasons while earning NAIA Honorable Mention honors in 2005. Upon his receiving his Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Holland assisted on the Falcons coaching staff as the pitching coach in 2008. 

Kaitlyn O'Leary, Class of 2007 - O'Leary, a native of Reading, MA, along with her twin sister, Marisa, were the second softball players to be enshrined into the Falcons Hall of Fame. Kaitlyn was a third baseman for the Falcons and was the first .300 hitters in Fisher softball history. The two sisters also served as captains during their tenure at Fisher, while each earning Sunrise All-Conference honors their senior seasons. Their mother was a recipient of the Barbara Heggarty award. Upon graduation in 2004, Kaitlyn earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, while earning Cum Laude honors. 

Marisa O'Leary, Class of 2007 - O'Leary, a native of Reading, MA, along with her twin sister, Kaitlyn, were the second softball players to be enshrined into the Falcons Hall of Fame. Marisa was a second baseman for the Falcons and was the first .300 hitters in Fisher softball history. The two sisters also served as captains during their tenure at Fisher, while each earning Sunrise All-Conference honors their senior seasons. Their mother was a recipient of the Barbara Heggarty award. Upon graduation in 2007, Marisa earned a Bachelor's Degree in Management with a concentration in Fashion Merchandising. 

Kyle VanOfferen, Class of 2007 - VanOfferen, a native of North Andover, MA, is the second pitcher in this year's enshrinement to be inducted, along with his teammate Patrick Holland. VanOfferen was a four-year starter for the Falcons on the mound, and at the time of his induction, was the all-time leader in career wins with 17. In his four-year career, VanOfferen was named to the Sunrise All-Conference team three times, along with being named to the NAIA Honorable Mention team in 2005 and 2006. Upon graduation in 2007, VanOfferen earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management.
